Buried Blueprints - Atlantis

The singular style of Albert Lorenz combines a sense of fantasy and exaggerated detail with an architectural command of reality. A graduate of Pratt Institude School of Architecture and Columbia University, Lorenz began his studio in 1971. His work has been published in The New York Times, National Geographic and has been commissioned by museums and the American Institute of Architects. He taught illustration at Pratt Institute for thirty years annd was awarded the title of Institute Distinguished Professor before retiring in 2003.

Albert Lorenz is will known for his Burried Blueprints illustrations, a series of imaginative illustrations inspired by a combination of historical and mythological themes. He is still exploring and expanding this unique series.
