Description
Dutch artist M.C. Escher is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest graphic artists of the 20th century. After his studies he went to live in Italy and took inspiration from the Italian landscape and architecture for his drawings, lithography and woodcuts. In 1935 he moved back to Holland where he created his greatest masterpieces.
